Work continues

Hello All!,
Started repairing the rudders this week.   One of the rudders had a chunk missing off the trailing edge when the engine prop chewed on it after the rudder head broke when crossing the Neuse river.
I used tape to create a surface to start laying in fiberglass cloth pieces

The other one had a big gouge in the side. I can lay in pieces of fiberglass cloth and resin to build up.  Then sand, fill, sand and paint.

Now install the new Rudder heads I got from BWY and rudders on Wind Wager
The new ones seem much stronger than the originals.  I will have to open the holes for locking the rudders up while trailering.   A little different position.

Add the ropes and ready to put in the water again  :)  But that is for next week after I fix a couple of interior items that came loose during our trip.

Take Care,
Tom
