Untied the Lines

July 9th, 2016
   We started our trip to Albemarle sound!!   This trip should be about 600 miles..  Had last minute projects to do like replace #3 carb  the night before leaving..  and micky mouse an air conditioner enclosure.  Made it to Hammock bay and anchored for the night.

  Had some help getting the bridges opened as a   barge crane was on our heels...  Motor is running great!

July 10th,2016
Left at 6:30 am and made it to Beaufort NC by 3pm.  Stayed at city docks with air and showers. After all this heat it felt great.  No wind...

July 11th, 2016
Left at 8 am and went through my 1st squal line.  Got wet today.

Was able to motor sail some and did not stop for 12 hours.  Crossed the Neuse river, Pamilco sound ,  Bay river, goose creek, Pamlico river and up the Pungo river.  We are at Dowery Creek marina just at dark.

 Woke to a beautiful sunrise today Albemarle sound is a little farther than I thought After a 9am start we fell a little short of our destination and stopped at Alligator  river marina for the night
